We are currently seeking driven professionals to join our team as a Takeover Sales Specialist for our Target Marketing Department. At Modern Exteriors, we provide the systems, support, and resources necessary for our team to maximize performance and drive revenue. This role plays a direct impact on company success by supporting in-home sales representatives during live sales situations and assisting in closing deals.

This is a true closer role — not a cold calling or appointment setting position. You will be working with warm opportunities, assisting in live sales situations, and closing deals.

Position Overview

The Takeover Sales Specialist is responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities generated by Modern Exterior’s sales and marketing efforts. This department serves as a centralized sales support team that assists in-home sales representatives in closing deals.

During in-home sales appointments, field sales representatives may contact the Target Marketing Department for assistance when a homeowner is hesitant to move forward. In these situations, the Takeover Sales Specialist speaks directly with the homeowner to help close the sale. Takeover Sales Specialists act as a secondary closer during these interactions.

This is a closer-focused role, where representatives work with existing opportunities rather than generating new leads.

Core Responsibilities

• Deal Execution & Closing: take complete ownership of qualified leads immediately following a warm takeover, moving them efficiently through the final stages of the closing process.
• Consultative Presentations: Deliver highly customized, value-driven product consultations tailored precisely to the pain points uncovered by the sales representative.
• Negotiation & Contract Management: Navigate complex pricing discussions to secure high-value contracts.

Required Qualification & Skills

• Experience: 2-5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in closing roles.(In-home sales and roofing/home remodeling experience is strongly preferred).
• Closing Mastery: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing mid-to-high ticket deals.
• Strong Verbal Communication: Ability to immediately read a room during a live Takeover and shift strategies based on real-time client dynamics.
• Advanced Negotiation: Strong ability to handle objections and negotiate pricing.
• Confidence speaking with homeowners
• Strong attention to detail when documenting deals
• Ability to remain calm and professional in live sales situations

Compensation: Takeover Sales Specialists are compensated through a combination of base salary and performance-based commission.

$30,000 base salary + uncapped commission with $80,000-$120,000+ earning potential.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time, in-office position with standard hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
